3 Days, 3 Quotes: As Multifaceted as the Night

I wonder about the significance of the number three… Why not make it seven? Or why not make it a weekly tag or an everyday tag? Or maybe that’s just too much to hope for and I will probably have run out of people to tag if that happened. But still – kudos to the one who created this tag! There’s something to be said about short and sweet things. So simple and yet so fun!

Thank you dear Auri for this lovely tag. You’re the best! (short and sweet already in play here)

Some words were meant to be savored not just once but over and over again. Every time you read them, there might just be a new meaning waiting to be discovered.

For today is not the same as your yesterday, the words you might have heard once in the past may mean more hearing it again.

Some of these words may be from the books we love to read, from the adventures of our heroes in our screens, the advice and warnings of adults, and even the passing remark of strangers.

For the Day 1 of this [sadly only] three-day adventure, I chose a quote from one of the books I adore and spoken by one of the characters I love.

For your own interpretation:

“There are different kinds of darkness. There is the darkness that frightens, the darkness that soothes, the darkness that is restful. There is the darkness of lovers, and the darkness of assassins. It becomes what the bearer wishes it to be, needs it to be. It is not wholly bad or good.”

  1. ooohhhh! I like it. It’s like a half glass full kinda thing, so the meaning is really wholly subjective. :3
i’m personally not a fan of darkness, since Ican’t be still when its completely dark xD
