The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories, Vol. 2 by Joseph Gordon-Levitt & wirrow

A tiny review for a tiny book of tiny stories.

The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories, Vol. 2
by Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Editor), wirrow (Goodreads Author) (Illustrator)

Image resultActor Joseph Gordon-Levitt (The Dark Knight Rises, Inception, Looper, 500 Days of Summer) made a big splash with The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories – so now he’s back with volume 2!

One of the most ingenious and successful projects to come out of Gordon-Levitt’s online creative coalition hitRECord – an international collaboration of artists and writers – The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories: Volume 2 offers more quirky, delightfully small, ingeniously illustrated haiku-like tales, proving once more that the universe isn’t made of atoms; it’s made of tiny stories. The best things do come in small packages

This was a recommended read for me and I am eternally grateful to my friend who shared this book to me. (Sending love to where you are, Reign!)

From the title, to the cover, to the tiny things in this tiny book. I absolutely adore everything!!

It is filled with ‘short’ stories accompanied by art. Most of the entries in the book are very relatable and almost always profound.

This book will appeal to your visual cravings and quote hoarding (much like me), though the use of words are quite ordinary, the meaning behind it is what gives each one a deep impact with the reader.

Here are a few .. erm .. yes just a FEW of my favorites from this tiny book:

“The universe is not made up of atoms; it’s made up of [tiny] stories.”
