“You have a brother (hyung), but you can’t call him your hyung?”
“Everyone’s scared to stand up on stage in front of an audience. You’re afraid that you might mistakes. That they’ll totally reject you. Even so, you grit your teeth and get up onstage anyway. Something compels us, moves us to play music. That’s how you create the most beautiful lie of all.”
“I don’t know which Karuta is most genuine. But don’t you think the Karuta world we love is greater towards the people who are in a team?”
(Arata to Shinobu)
“There is no bad person who likes Karuta.”
Here is another drama with another stellar casting bait. I have already watched several dramas of Kim So Hyun and most of Yoo Seung Ho‘s because I love them both and I sometimes can be an awesome binge watcher. Continue reading “Ruler: Master of the Mask – Another Tale of Kings”
“This is the story of me, who loved you more than myself.”
“Well, that was that, and this is this.” – Keroberos
My sentiments exactly Kero-chan. Here’s me and mine with another batch of episodes of Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card. That being my first impression of the show, and this is this review. Got that?

Hello aniworld! Before you ask, yes that title was a reference to a Taylor Swift song.
It seems that almost everyone is currently preoccupied with the 12 Days of Anime while here I am leisurely enjoying some episodes of Mahoutsukai no Yome and contemplating on whether I should post this today or not. I should have waited for the next episode but Silky is checking up on my progress so here it is! Continue reading “Mahoutsukai no Yome: But loving him was… red?”
“What” and “If” are two words as non-threatening as words can be. But put them together side-by-side and they have the power to haunt you for the rest of your life: What if? What if? What if? I don’t know how your story ended but if what you felt then was true love, then it’s never too late. If it was true then, why wouldn’t it be true now? You need only the courage to follow your heart. I don’t know what a love like Juliet’s feels like – love to leave loved ones for, love to cross oceans for but I’d like to believe if I ever were to feel it, that I will have the courage to seize it. And, Claire, if you didn’t, I hope one day that you will.
All my love, Juliet
“At times he lends a hand, and at times, he shows his fangs.” (Guess who)
I finally got around to watching another four episodes of the anime. Since I already offered my thoughts on the first batch of episodes, I figured I might as well do another. Not that I am being forced or becoming an unwilling participant, because I assure you I am not. Silky got her eyes on me for skipping breakfast because I am staying to watch this. Continue reading “Mahoutsukai no Yome: An Escapist’s Dream and Nightmare”
After feeling a little bit guilty on my less than enthusiastic or in other words lazy description of L on my Five Flaming Hotties post, I felt compelled to make amends. My sort of apology to the genius detective was finally checking out this spinoff of the original Death Note.
L’s legacy lives on as another detective takes up his mantle and engaging in another cat and mouse chase with the death note holders — or so it would it seem in the cover and description. Continue reading “Death Note Lighting Up My Laptop Screen”
Well, this was another impulsive watch. I should probably make a category of that: ‘my impulsive watches’ but then that would not be impulsive anymore. Continue reading “Daytime Shooting Star (Hirunaka no Ryuusei)”
Kaori Fujimiya is always alone because all of her happy memories, including time spent with her friends, disappear every Monday. Deciding that he wants to be friends with her anyway, Yuuki Hase tries to get close to Kaori each week, wishing that she would one day call him “a friend.” It is based on a manga of the same name by Hazuki Maccha.
Genre(s): Comedy, Drama, School Life, Shounen, Slice of Life Continue reading “One Week Friends (Ishuukan Friends)”
Black Clover Episode 4-5
Okay, so I have finally watched the episode 5 of the anime Black Clover. This is one of those times where my binge watch mood skipped over to the next session or I got curious enough to see what happens next.
As a lover of music, and crazy about anime. My fangirl heart demanded that I re-watch Uta no Prince Sama. (I should probably add that to my profile – a professional re-watcher if there is such a thing.) Continue reading “Revisiting the Songs in Uta no Prince Sama”
