What is Later than Late? Sunshine and Entertainer Tags

“Better late than never.”

Never liked that quote much but the irony is not lost on me.

I know I missed a lot. A lot of great tag posts, discussions, reviews and just general awesomeness from last year, but there are some that my bookmarks never forgot.

I’m terribly sorry for being late in answering them and even more apologetic to those I completely missed. I’m not even attempting to answer ALL of them. I’ll just give a shoutout to some of my people here.

🎲 Entertainer Blogger

I got tagged last year for Entertainer Blogger Award from Andrea’s Nirvana who recently came back from her break and now self-hosting. So proud of you, Andie. Congrats! Here’s to more fangirling and epic reviews from you.

If you haven’t heard of her now is definitely the time to check out her blog! Go forth and show some love and support.

What genre did you read most before starting your blog?

Books. YA, romance, fantasy, urban fantasy, paranormal, romance, new adult, adult, and a bit of mystery and thriller. The only difference is that I read more contemporary these days. Also, anything I can get my hands on or depending on the mood.

Manga. Mostly shoujo, reverse harem, shounen, romance, fantasy and anything interesting!

What genre did fellow bloggers influence your opinion on?

Contemporary. I learned to appreciate them more now.

Fave book format?

Hardbound for my favorite books and collection purposes.

Plants without flowers or plants that have flowers?

I’d say without but I tried raising a cactus and still failed. It’s safe to say it’s neither for now.

Did that make sense? Not sure if that’s even the right answer to this question…

Some tropes you love seeing in books?

Badass females not needing to be saved by their badass male counterpart. Enemies turned lovers also applies. SJM on both counts and from both of her book series too because I’m trash for Maas.

A book character you relate to a lot?

Theresa Gray. Exhibit A: The Quote Hoarder: The Clockwork Princess — A Character I Aspire To Be.

☀️ Sunshine Blogger

A shoutout to Arty-sis for the Sunshine Blogger Award over at Anime Shelter. Congrats on self-hosting too!

Which country/ place is on the top of your bucket list to visit?

Korea, Japan, & London.

(But In the spirit of full disclosure, I’d love to visit Hogwarts, Camp Half-Blood/Camp Jupiter, The Night Court, Terrasen, Alicante and other fictional places more.)

Name your favorite attribute used by a character in a book?

Being a bookworm themselves. I mean, they can be anything AND also be a bookworm. Like an assassin and a bookworm (Celaena Sardothien). A king and a bookworm (Dorian Havilliard). Or even shadowhunters and bookworms (Will & Tessa). Bookworms unite!

What movie scared the hell out of you?

I don’t like horror movies but I’ve seen the mystery/thriller Split starring James McAvoy and it scared the hell out of me.

Pick one song to lip sync for your life on?

Probably same with JK’s pick. I actually haven’t gotten that song out of my head too! It’s BTS Jimin’s Promise.

If you were able to go back in time where would you go?

June 13, 2013. Yes, it’s related to BTS but also not.

Sweet or spicy?

SWEET! Chocolates, cakes and all things sweet. Sadly, I can’t deal with too spicy foods yet.

If you would describe your life with a color which one would it be?

….

Tell about a memorable moment that made you laugh while reading a book or watching a movie?

I should probably tag this as a SPOILER and you asked so…

I just finished rereading Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas yesterday and “Lord Lorcan Lochan” is still funny as hell to me. I’m still snickering while I’m drafting this post.

Light or dark?

Definitely DARK. Draw the curtains and let me hide from the sun.

night owl

I’d like to refrain from tagging others for now. But do check out the blogs I mentioned above, you won’t regret it.

Thanks for reading!
