One-Liner Challenge: Book and Manga Edition

A challenge to summarize the book in one sentence, and also to poke fun at it. Think of it as a one-liner roast.

The Rules:

  • Make a post of one-sentence summaries and/or roasts of at least five books.
At least, it says here. So there’s a minimum but no maximum? If I’m not in love with this tag already, this solidifies it.
  • No spoilers! Got it! I’ll… try. Very hard.
  • Link back to The Awkward Book Blogger so she can see your post.
Hi! You’re awesome for making this tag by the way. Thank you very much!
  • Challenge as many or as little people as you want!
Okay..? But I’m not sure if I should tag people or just let this be a free tag. I mean I basically tagged my self for this. Just ask J.W. Martin.
  • Have fun! Thanks! I endeavor to.

Special A

Special A

Choose your rival wisely, they could be for life.

Kaichou wa Maid Sama

Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

Death Note

Death Note

You will learn that sweets are a genius’ best friend, and apples may keep doctors away but not a Shinigami. (Who cares about a note anyway– not when there’s food!)

It’s harder than I thought but it’s definitely for the lazy me. Why write a long review when you can write just a few lines, right? No. Of course not. There are quotes we must hoard and characters we must admire! But I had fun doing this. Thank you again to the awesome J.W. Martin for letting me tag myself. I couldn’t have done this without you!

To anyone reading this and interested in this awesome tag, learn from me and tag yourselves already! Link to this post so I can check them out.

As always, happy reading everyone!
