Can December be any more NEAT than it already was?

Beware reader: This will be quite a long post I think (a thousand words and more). Partly due to several questions I have to tackle and of course just because I can make it one (perks of blogging). I am giving you permission to skim through but don’t forget to check out the awesome bloggers mentioned all throughout this ‘neat’ post (if I do say so myself).

The last month of the year is usually reserved for wrap ups and musings and resolutions. I never got to do that in the blog because I did it at home and away from the precious laptop. It seemed like not only did I achieve several milestones in life, but also in blogging as well. These sort of awards and nominations do encourage a blogger as prone to procrastination as me to keep going and to post more.

A big thank you to YahariBento , Josie from It’s An Anime Thing and Sam from A Nerdy Perspective for tagging me for the The Real Neat Blog Award. You guys… I am so touched. I feel like I was missed during the December semi-hiatus I was in. Of course it may or may not necessarily be the case, but let me live in my fantasy world for a bit. It took me ages to finally get this out but here it is!!! Me answering the seven questions you guys provided and graciously accepting this award (am getting a bit emotional). December 2017 was really a blast!

YAHARIBENTO’S 7 COMBO QUESTIONS

… which should be renamed as a short story in the making really!

When a zombie is ringing a bell in front of your house, what should you do? One choice only.

• ignore?
• chase it away. (its true self is saleman)
• welcome them to your warm house and serve some green tea?
• snore. (escape reality)

Truthfully, I wouldn’t even hear the bell. I couldn’t even hear my alarm even if it is right beside me. Talk about a sleep-coma situation.

If this zombie is going to attack you and you go to the kitchen, choose only one kitchen utensil that will be your weapon. (except sharp weapons, ok?)

Chopsticks. It came to mind because I have recently been trying to properly use them so that when I visit Korea or Japan in the future, my chopsticks skills won’t only be for food, but also for defeating zombies.

And then, zombie melts after you countered back, what will you do between…

• look for cleaner.
• prepare dinner. (??)

As I have been nominated for being neat, of course I will clean it! But seriously, I’m pissed the zombie made a mess of the kitchen.

While you are with that zombie, another family member comes back home (!!). What will you do between hide zombie behind the refrigerator or introduce it to your family?

I thought it already melted? Hmm.. well this is awkward. I would not be able to hide it behind the refrigerator since it would not stay put and I am not touching that thing, and how would I even introduce it to my family? I will just clean him up since he already melted.

You notice zombie’s clothes are kinda depressing. Which clothing style is looking good to it. (Since I can’t identify the gender of this zombie either (hohoho), you can choose any women or men’s clothing.) For my opinion, it must be Lolita!!

A wide brimmed hat and some sunglasses because I’m feeling beach-y.

Since this post is about real neat blog award, so zombie wants to do a cleaning job, what you will say is…

“You’re a mess, we’ll clean you up first.”

Before zombie-san will leave your house, it seems hesitate and asks you if it can stay a night with you. Its expression (??) while it’s asking is soooo adorable. But your choice is…

• …(click remote in your hand to activate UFO above zombie, then warp it to another dimension.)

The UFO choice is so cool I would like to see it happen in front of me, so I will choose that one. Bye-bye zombie!

It’s An Anime Thing’s 7 Questions:

If you could travel to any fictional world, which would it be and why?

I have already answered this ‘Harry Potter’ once in a post, and I am bringing back that magical world here. ^^

What role would you play in a harem anime? (The protagonist, the tsundere, kuudere, the loli, etc.)

Realistically speaking, I would most likely be a tsundere. But I would love to be the protagonist.

What’s a basic tradition that you love to do on Christmas? If you don’t celebrate it, what’s a tradition you love to do on your favorite holiday?

Not what I would call a tradition but all of my family being there and just complete, is seriously one of my favorite things during the Christmas season.

If you could live the life of a character, who would they be? And why?

Peter Pan. Just so I could fly and never grow up.

What’s your next vacay destination? If you don’t have one, what’s one place you would love to go to?

More beaches. More Vitamin Sea!

What is your aspiration in life?

A Nerdy Perspective’s Questions

If you could go for afternoon tea with a villain of you choice to discuss their evil plans who would you choose and why?

Are there any characters that you hate? You just wish they would go away because they annoy you so much!

None so far… I think.

What is your favourite thing about Christmas? Or if you celebrate another holiday what is it and what’s your favourite thing about it?

Family. That’s my favorite thing about it. Because we are always complete during this holiday season.

Do you have a favourite video game? It can be from recently or maybe something you played when you were younger!

Pokemon never gets old. Or is it more accurate to say that it grew old with you (the same cannot be said for the characters if you know what I mean).

What is one of your fondest memories?

Being blissfully ignorant of the horrible things men are capable of. In other words, just being a kid without any worries.

Do you have any New Years Resolutions?

I have none. I am not fond of it due to my inability to fulfill said resolutions. I take it one day at a time and see if I can fulfill tasks that I set up for myself. But no new year’s resolution.

Can you speak any other languages other than your own? If so what are they?

I am currently speaking (or writing) in it now. English is my second language.
